Built Up

Something I forgot to mention in my earlier post that has contributed to feeling so nice and restful, is having been built up by friends. Whether through a helpful conversation (thanks Kim!), or an encouraging e-mail (thanks Jill!), or prayer time with my small group (thanks ladies!), I’ve felt especially loved by my church family!

This is just what we’ve covenanted as a church to do, and I’m so blessed that my friends have been caring for me so well. Scripture says in Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” (1 Th. 5:10) How wonderfully true!
